I’m Mike, the pilot behind FlyPixelPilot.I create aerial imagery that blends visual storytelling with technical precision. My work ranges from cinematic landscape photography capturing the light, textures, and movement of the coastal Carolinas to structured aerial documentation that supports construction projects and project stakeholders.In addition to flying drones, I’m a geospatial technology professional with more than 35 years of experience working with GIS, spatial data systems, and geospatial analysis. Throughout my career I’ve designed and managed spatial data environments that support infrastructure planning, public safety operations, and complex decision-making.That background shapes the way I approach aerial imaging. Whether documenting construction progress or capturing natural landscapes, I focus on accuracy, consistency, and delivering imagery that provides both visual impact and meaningful spatial context.FlyPixelPilot reflects both sides of that perspective, creative exploration of the coastal environments that inspire me, and professional aerial imaging services that help organizations document, understand, and communicate the places where work is happening.

FAA Part 107 Certified

I’m an FAA Part 107 certified UAS pilot, and every flight is conducted in full compliance with federal regulations. I follow established procedures for airspace authorization, weather evaluation, safety planning, and equipment checks to ensure safe and professional operations.
